How wide a wheel?
Hey Im plannin on puttin some 15 inch cragars on my 68 f100. how wide in the back can i go on the wheel. i have been told 10 and 12 inches. also what type of offset do u think would be good for the truck as well. i dont want to relocate anything i just want to keep it stock but go as wide as i can in the back on the wheel. thanks for the help!

Rim width will depend on the backspacing. A 10" rim with 3.5 backspacing should fit okay. It all depends on your tire width. I posted a formula for this a while ago on FTE (off road or tire section I think) that should help you.

A 12.5 wide tire on a 10 inch rim with 3.5 inches of backspacing should fit okay on the rear without hitting anything on the frame side. How much clearance you have on the fender side is going to be determined by tire height.
