Door switch locations on 97 explorer
Where are the door switches located on a 97 explorer? My haynes manual has nothing for info and I don't have the truck in fornt of me right now to start looking. I can't get the interior lights to turn off so I am assuming that one of the door switches is not making contact (I am in the process of doing some body repair). I am assuming that it is door switch on the rear hatch because that is where most damage occured.

Spray some wd40 in the door latch assemby. Ford "HAD A BETTER IDEA" and put the switch there. It will stick and the wd frees it and lubes it. Just have the window in the up position to keep from having to clean it. Dealer does the same thing for $100.00.
