Shock absorbers

I replaced the factory (I believe) shocks at 60K, less than a year ago, with Monroe SensaTracs. I chose the STs because Sears gave a lifetime warranty on parts and labor. Anyway, it is now 50K later and the truck nearly bounces off the road whenever I hit a bad expansion joint or bump, especially if there is any sort of corner involved. Anyone else had this experience with these shocks?
Thanks

I'd say that if you've had 50K miles of use on a set of shocks with a lifetime warranty, go get 'em replaced! I don't think I've ever got more than about 30K out of a set of aftermarket shocks other than air shocks.

I agree...30k or so is about the life of a good aftermarket shock like Monroe or Gabriel. I think the Bilsteins last longer but you pay twice as much for them...not that they aren't worth it though.

Go to Sears and get them replaced...

Try the warranty route first. If you don't get anywhere, then go for Bilsteins all around. They are pricey, but worth every penny. Every single one...

If you choose different shocks get Koni's because you get a better ride since it is double tube(lower pressure) than a single tube (Bilsteins). It's lifetime warranty also and adjustable.
