Anyone know the cheapest way to get stacks? I know a couple sites that sell them but their expensive..I want at least 5" Chrome tip-out stacks for my 2002 f250 powerstroke...Can someone please help me!!!!
i second ruber duck. i got my 26'' mitre cuts from a truck boneyard, so they were a little beat up, but hey, can't beat 30$$ right?? berubes is a good place, and if you have any big-rig stores near where you live, check in there too before you go ordering everything. goo dluck, just ask us if ya got any questions
My answer is the same as Rubberduck - I got my stacks on E-Bay - and got parts from Berube's and airflow.com - as each had some of the parts cheaper than the other! I spent a little under $600 for ALL the stuff I needed, and spent about 5 hours in my shop doing the fabrication and putting them on my truck. You could do it cheaper, but I wanted my pipes in the bed to look good too, so I went with all piping. I have seen guys that have a square or rectanglular tube across the bottom of the bed with the stacks attached to that... but IMO that looks kinda cheezy - but cheaper than all the bends and Y pipe.
Ok, I ordered my stacks from the ChromeRoom people on ebay..Now what all parts do i need as far as the elbow, extensions, etc? And does anyone have any instructions on installing them yourself?
if i'm feeling productive tomorrow or thenext day i'll see about doing up a drawing....not tonight, its after 3 am, time to go to bed. Rodeos and concerts Texas Style wear ya out
Ebay number 7981205019 they are selling stack kits for $370 shipped, all the piping is 4inch and the stacks are 5 inch. It cost me more than that to do mine, but I used all 5 inch pipe.
thats got a good drwaing of the parts needed if anyhting. jsut scope it out. looks jsut like the way i set mine up. only hting is i find it hard to believe that chrome is 36'' long....looks more like 24....but then again, it is on a goat
