Spark knock...

I have an 89 F150 5.0 with 50000 miles on it . I am getting some spark knock during aceleration and on hills. This seems to happen only after the engine warms up. I went to 89 octane from 87 but it did not help. Installed new plugs [gapped correctly] 2000 miles ago. Any ideas? Thanks!
