I have a '96 F-150, 5.8/AT/4WD. It surges. It starts out while driving slow, and jerks so hard into first and second. It's not the Transmission. I just had it replaced (E40D) and it's still Jerking! Nobody seems to know what the problem is. ANY help would be greatly appreciated! tsmg21a@aol.com

If you just had it replaced and there are problems with it, the shop obviously did something wrong, and you need to take it back to them and make them fix it. Surely you wouldn't have paid a shop $2k to rebuild a tranny and not asked about a warranty, right?
