ranger engine part interchange
I have a 85 ranger xlt with the 2.8liter v6 and carb. I'm wondering what engine parts would interchange with the other v6 versions of similar or newer years, such as the 2.9 and 3.0 liter v6's. Specifically, I would like to find a pair of cylinder heads that will fit my 2.8liter block as well as intake manifold,etc. with minimum fuss.

welcome aboard to FTE and to the FTE LA chapter. Sounds like you have big plans for your Ranger. I hear some people put a 5.0 V8 302 in there Rangers. Check out the Engine Swaps section they can help you out more on your project. thanks for stoping by
