need help with my suspension

my turck is a 6.0 03 f250 cc fx4. I think that it has a small lift kit, I need to know because I want to install the procomp 6.5 lift, so I need to know if it is lifted already or not. I think that it is lifted because my track bar one the axle housing side has a red what looks like relocator on it. It is the only thing under the truck that looks like it is not factory. The truck still has some rake so it is not a leveling kit. My tires are 285/75r16 and they do not rub under normal driving but while off roading the other day I hit a hard bump on the driver side and the tire hit the plastic thing inside the fender. Does anyone know if there are any markings on the factory springs and hangers, or any other way to tell, please help.

thanks,
Steve

I'm going to take a stab at this one. Based on not seeing the truck ...... you would not have to relocate the track bar unless it had a lift kit prior to your purchase of the truck. Also to relocate a track bar you would need more than 4 inches of lift. Now with that said as I am just guessing here....the truck may or might have had a lift. If a lift was removed your front axle would be way off center from what your saying. Does the piece have multiple holes?

I do not hear good things about Procomp lifts……so do some research. I am not saying it is good or bad because I have never used Procomp.

I would not get the Pro Comp 6.5 again, I have one on my diesel and the ride is terrible. Save your money and get the DR, donahue racing, my friend has one and his truck rides a lot better than mine (same shocks). With the Pro Comp you'll be getting the tallest 6 inch lift I've ever seen, my truck easily clears 37 MTR's, my friend needed to take off his front chin spoiler.

there is not adjustment holes on the track bar relocator, and it only moves the track bar 1.5 inches. What all is changed in a 4 inch lift? and what company powercoats red?

I have not done that much research about a lift yet, just thought I would say the procomp lift. The lift that I really want is made by rock crusher, it is a coil over convertion.

Lift

DON'T GO WITH PRO CRAP I made that mistake my self.
I let the sales men talk me in to Pro Crap I was going with Skyjacker at first I had Skyjacker on my old power wagon It had a great ride and it fit.

You need to have at least a 4 inch lift to clear 35" .

Good Luck
