Another RADIO Question...

Who else has the "Amibence" setting under the "Menu" selections? And, what does it do my OM does not address it and I really can't tell if it makes a difference or not

i believe it is a noise cancelling feature that is supposed to reduce the amount of background noise on CD's. Not sure where I read this though...

teuton - thanks - I'll play with it some more and see if I can figure it out......one it is turned on - you can increase it's effect by turning up the radio volume ****......

Sounds like a space emulation to me. From reading this post, I mean. In audio recording, ambiance would refer to reverb, or the sonic effects of being in a room, like a concert hall, for example. Maybe since the inside of a vehicle is acoustically pretty dead and is a small space, the ambiance option could add a sense of space.

Maybe I'm just nuts-

BTW- listening to Elvis Presley's Sun Sessions right now. As good as it gets..
