drive line/rear end
My 83 f150 4x4 with mannual trans.has a metalic
sound when moving from a forward gear to reverse
and vise versa and rolling a few feet.
Its coming from the rear end.
I replaced the rear u-joints and pulled the
cover off the rear end and all looks normal.
no broken teeth or metal in the oil.
No noise while driving anyone
have ideas? thanks,ken
