Hello, all! I just returned from my first road trip in Ephraim, my PSD. Thought I'd put some statistics out here for anyone interested. I was carrying a 10 ft slide-in camper, wife, 2 kids, and all the trappings needed for a 9-day trip. I didn't weigh it, but I must've been pushing max gross. We went from Oklahoma to western North Carolina to northern West Virginia and back.

Max EGT observed 1,300 F for a short time on a long N. Carolina grade
Max boost observed 20 psi for the same period as the max EGT
Max tranny temp obsv'd 205 F during a hot day on an interstate grade

PSD problems 0

On the return trip, I threw the tread off the right rear tire, which beat the s*&t out of everything, including the bottom of the bed. I'm blaming the incredibly crappy highway (I-44) between St. Louis and Springfield for it.

My alternator failed the day after we returned, but with 215,000+ miles on it, I can hardly complain.

Great trip, beautiful country, but as always, glad to be home!
