I have been using the site for about a year to look at technical discussions, but never was brave enough to get my feet wet. I decided to take the leap because the posts were very informational, and because I would like to be able to ask a question now andd then. I am not an expert but, I would like to be able to help when I can and also, most importantly, I would like help with problems I run into.
I have a 1979 F250 with a 351M that I bought 2 years ago. I bought it as a project truck, but haven't had a lot of time and money to work on it. I am hoping this will be the year that I have the resources to start the project. I am still kicking around the idea of a restoration, or a build up. I am leaning more toward a build up. Expecially since some of the parts are really hard to find.
I look forward to having input, and getting input from the community. Even though I come from a Ford family, I do not have a lot of automotive repair experience. I tend to do a lot of research first to make sure I make good choices.
I look forward to speaking with the community, and hope you all find me to be an asset.
