I got a Tekonsha PRODIGY online at http://www.trailerbrake.com. They sent it 2-day Air for free with the factory harness. Installation was a breeze. It was really nice to have it for the type of trailer I used (kwik) that tilted. I needed to crank up the brakes in order to back up and lower the ramp.
Trailer weight was somewhere ~5k.
All in all the tow went well up over Donner Pass to Reno. The truck was a champ. I kept overdrive on. She pulled it like there was nothing there.
Its called a kwik-load by Sloan. It was cool using it, a bit of a hassle pulling pins/backing up/etc, but other than that it was easy to get the car on the trailer thats for sure. really beefy and strong too.
