Sit them in oil, while 15 are sitting, take a pushrod and pump one up while in the oil. Install it with some extra cam lube on the bottom, move on to the next.
Kinda like washing your hair...Lather, rinse , repeat......Just repeat 16 times.

I like doing them dry so that the plunger can move and you can measure the preload. I also do it before putting the intake on so you can see the plunger moving.
Prime the motor with a drill and turn the motor over a few times until you have oil coming out of all the pushrods. Then you know they are primed.
