Idles high
I just cleaned my Throttle body, and now notice that my idle runs a little high. It also seems to flucuate when idling (up & down). I have a 1992 F150, my 1990 also has a similar problem. Could this be the Idle Air valve.
I am also going to have to take the truck through a PA Safety & emission inspection. The truck was purchased in Deleware.
So far I put on a new rotor & cap, the plugs are new
I cleaned the Throttle body
changed the oil
Replaced the fuel fiter
new air cleaner & breather
installed 40 series flowmaster with dual output
have the new plug wires and pcv, not installed yet.
Is there any thing else I need, so I don't fail emissions? I had a difficult time with my 1990.
