Mark a chalk line on one tire
Mark the drive shaft so you can see how many times it turns.
With two people see if you have Limited Slip by trying to hold one wheel while turning the other. A open diff will let one wheel turn while opposite wheel is stopped. A LS unit will make both wheels turn same rate.
Get the two chalk marks lined up where you can count the drive shaft turns. One revolution of the wheel will make the drive shaft mark spin by 3.73 or 4.1 or 4.3 times and it is real easy to judge what is 4 minus a little(3.7) or 4 plus a little(4.1) or 4 plus a 1/3 turn(4.3)
Takes longer to jack and brace than do the two tests.
