Posted earlier about this. Have since found that my 90 F150 300 I6 has 2 in-line cats (ugh) and exhaust that appears all factory stock. Local cost for replacing these 2 in-line cats with 1 hi-flow is $200 plus. Guess I'll go for it. With 136,000 its probably due and may reduce the stink problem. This truck stinks, literally, and I get a 33 error code off the engine self test even though all suspected components are working A-OK (sensors, egr, etc). Anyone else encounter this? Will changing the cats eliminate it?
