Right here! I just graduated highschool.. well on May 24th. If we have any kids out there reading this, just remember one thing..
People are going to tell you that life goes by and to enjoy it while you can, well I second this. I can look back at my highschool life and I remember all the things that happened, but I will always wish I could go back into my freshman year and enjoy it more from the beginning.
My wife who is going to 50 on the 21st just graduated with a degree in IT (computer information tech) She did it while working full time AND taking care of me. Guess she's a keeper. We had our 32nd anniversary the 25th of May. I assume she's planning of staying around for while longer.
And...My quick word of advice to those of you with young children that might be reading this thread- give 'em an extra hug and hold them tight. It seems my oldest went from stroller to car keys in the blink of an eye. On that same note, after many grad parties this weekend, I can say I'm pretty darned proud of him...and his friends. Fine group of young men and women we managed to raise.
My oldest kid just graduated with honors from PSU with a BS in Psychology. Now he's looking for clinical work for the experience, so he can get into the Phd program. Worked his whole way through - I bought him a set of tires 4 years ago for his car, that's it. Not a bad graduation, I slept through most of it.
Ok not to get off topic here. What kind of gifts did you receive. Any lucky guy or gal get a vehicle for graduation. Sorry polarbear this is a bit off topic. Bugt Im curious.
