Brake Problems

Brake Problems
I have a 2000 x and have brake problems. I had the dealer replace the brakes and they have not been the same since. They seem soft and have taken them back to the dealer and they say they are fine. The ABS light is now on and will not go off. Also the brake pedal makes a noise every now and then that sounds like it is out of fluid. I have checked fluid level and it is OK. Does anyone have any suggestions? The pads should be OK they are almost brand new only have abot 10,000 miles on them. any help would be greatly appreciated.

They said there was nothing wrong with the brakes the last time I took it to them and the light was off when i picked it up. I haven't asked about the light but you bring up a good point. I will ask them.
