Right now I'm between. I was a detailer at a Maaco shop, but with moving...yeah, that went away. I'll probably just get something at a Wal-Mart for now ot afford gas until I can find something better. Oh, and I'm a full-time student
Finding out where Momudder has been gave me an idea for a new topic. So what does everyone do for a living? I'm a warehouse supervisor for Dierbergs in their produce warehouse. Although I'm kinda looking for a different job, just kinda testing the water to see what else is out there.
Guess my screen name makes it pretty obvious huh? Truck driver by profession tho.
lookin for a summer job... anywhere, but no one wants to hire the white male that just graduated from high school... this is getting friggin irritating. I'd LOVE a job, and all the other kids do is cry about their stupid 20 hr/week job that they ring stuff up at a register. BTW, it wouldn't be my first job, so I'm not looking forward to money and having no idea what I'm getting into! Anyone know of any openings is the KC area, and anything south?
Ryan
Go to the WALMART warehouse there in H-ville! That's pretty close to you and they're always hiring....11 something to start I think.
Which day of the week?.....I am a Police Officer, Vollunteer Firefighter/EMS, OTR Truck Driver...Somewhere in there I manage to find time to turn wrenches for friends and family....But they are gonna have to wait, I finally got the truck that I have been wanting since I was a kid, my Great Grandad's 1978 F-250 4x4. Needs TLC and a lift B4 I can get it muddy
Production control material specialist / auto rebuilder
I work for Raytheon Aircraft in wichita ks. Basicly I ask people to expedite parts in case of a scrapped assembly, line rate quickens, crap like that. I also have a small detailing, dent and paint repair business (real small) and I rebuild wrecks. I am in the process of building a 02 f-250 super duty / crewcab / powerstroke that is rolled. Its "big hazard" (it said bio hazard on the door when I got it but it "looked like "Big Hazard" it has only been rolled once. Its got an 8inch lift and 38.5's on it. But I still need a short bed. I cant stand to drive my old 93 3/4 ton chevy single cab any more. Good ol truck just no ac and the gas milage sucks!!!!!!!
Nice to be here, hope to meet all the cool "MotorHeads" (everyone)

I'm a fulltime student @ UMR here in the "middle of everywhere". I'm studying to be a metallurgical engineer and I hope to graduate by the time I'm 30 (2 more years!!) I work about 25 hours a week in the foundry casting the infamous UMR aluminum paperweights and we occasionally pour steel castings. Gotta love liquid metal!!!! Thru all that, I sometimes find time to wrench on the truck. (a rough '60)!! Hello to all MO Members!!!
I'm a police officer in the KC area. I haven't worked since the end of April because I crashed while in a pursuit and broke my hip. I should be going back to work in the next two weeks though. This is my first project vehicle. Engine should be going into it this weekend or next. Good to be here though.
