I just bought a 1990 f150 that came with 10 in. tires. I would like to pick up a set of used stock rims for snow tires. What size is stock and
what year trucks are interchangeable with mine. Also, are rims from other brands(i.e. chevy, jeep etc..) interchangeable with my ford?
For my 88 F150 that came with P235-75r15 tires, the door janb decal states the rim is a 15 x 6.If you need interchangeability,go to the parts house & looking in the brake parts catalog(book form),the wheel stud patterns are given (usually)where the rotors & drums are listed such as 5 x5,5 x 4.75,5 x 5.5,etc..Then you can skim thru every vehicle other than Fords until you might find a substitute, but, this says nothing for the diameter of the center pilot hole of the rim/hub.Also, have you tried the wheel/tire locator at www.tirerack.com ?
