bully dog boost guage problem?

i just installed my bully dog guages and i noticed when i mounted up the boost taht it was showing 10 psi not hooked up.

it still was showing 10 when hooked up when at an idle. now it starts to come up asyou accel. it pegs out at like 32 psi when ive got it to the floor workn it. now is it right the way it sits or it the gauge messed up?

chances are good that if it is reading 10 psi not hook up its shot (out of calibration ) or it is not wired properly.
double cheak wiring if wiring cheaks out okay send guage back for a replacement

its running a hose right to the hose off the map sensor. it doesnt have a sender. when i hooked up the hose one the gauge side it says 10 so i pulled some vacume on the line at the other end and the guage dropd but came right back up to 10. it almost seems like its 0'd out at 10 or something

what should i be see'n as a boost reading though the rpm range?

i would send it back
those guages are pretty sensintive if it got drop or thrown
around during shipping it may have nock it out of calibration
at idling u should read o psi
wot 24 psi with no modes and wastgate hooked up
70 mph about 4 to 6 psi
30 mph 2
these are aproxement every truck is differant but should be close the harder the engine is working lets say going up hill the more boost u will see

I think I would call them tomorrow and get a replacement gauge. Ten pounds, not even hooked up, is not right. The needle may have get bumped out of range during shipment.

ya, find that sticker... but the same thing happens to everybody... if the bullydog people are any good at all they will just send you a new one... just tell them what happened to the sticker... i'm sure they've heard it before...
