It's a Unix date thing. The default start time/date for Unix is 1-1-1970, or something like that. I've seen it explained before, but I don't recall all the details.

What Matt doesn't realize is because of the switch from the DCForum to
VBulletin caused the date structure for users to revert to Dec 31st 1969.

This guy could have joined & posted in 2001 but because of the forum changes & the fact that he didn't post since then, the sate shows Dec 31,1969 .

I think what Dennis doesn't realize is that Mr. Guest is possibly stuck in a time warp. We need to rescue him! Do you think he is having a "Happy New Year"?

Ditto - I'd love to be back in 1969. Especially with the knowledge I have now having grown up in the 80s and 90s.

Same here. 25 cents a gallon for gas, muscle cars, only have to be 18 to buy beer, hell i'd be in heaven. I'd have to buy a '69 Chevy Yenko Nova, and a set of drag slicks, and drag everything in site! I might be a Ford Truck man, but im a chevy muscle car man. Alls we've ever had is mustangs!

Only down side would be haveing to go thru the 80's. I'd have to wait until 1988 and buy my truck off the lot!
