Good Morning.I'm in the process of rebuilding a 4.2l V6.For some reason the factory manual I have does not show any bearing to journal clearances for the 4.2L engine. All other engines are included in their sections. Can anyone give me these specs, rods and mains. Also, the torgue specs for the rods and mains are covered in the assembly portion of the manual.Main torgue spec is 37 lb/ft,rod spec is 33 lb/ft.However,what confuses me is the torgue procedure. Main torgue procedure:1) torgue to 37 lb/ft
2) 115-125 degrees
Rod torgue procedure: 1) 15-18 lb/ft
2) 29-33 lb/ft
3) 90-120 degrees
Can anyone inform me as to what the degrees listed in these procedures are?
Thanks to all in advance.
