Tranny cooler
Auto Meter Phantom style gauges like these

I put in oil pressure, water temp, and Trans temp in a three gauge panel. For the oil pressure I went with a full sweep mechanical, and on the other two I used short sweep electric units. Mounted the panel just under the ash tray tilted a bit toward the drivers side so I can see them better. I used the light in the ash tray for 12V lighting for the gauge faces, and hooked into a switched fuse for the gauges 12V. The cool thing is I can dim the gauges at night if I want.
Well its been real hot here in NJ....like 90*F every day, and I had a idea that my water temp would be a bit high....I am using a 195* t-stat.....my ECU likes it that way.....but my trans temp had gone up to almost 210* a few times while sitting in stop and go traffic in NYC. This got me worried...E4OD and all the $$$$ to replace it!
So I said the heck with that and I put one of these on yesterday..........

B & M Super Cooler.....stacked plate designe....rated for 24,400 GVW. Well since the install, the hottest I have seen the trans get was like 175*-180*. It works wonders and the install was a piece of cake. I ran the B&M in a series with the stock cooler/heater in the rad. The ATF comes out of the tranny hot, and goes through one of these sending unit manifolds, where my ATF temp sending unit is mounted. Its right at the fitting where the hot ATF goes into the radiator. This gives me a very accurate reading on my ATF's temp.

Then at the bottom of the radiator I used the fittings supplied with the cooler to mount my B&M to the return line just as the ATF exits the radiator. No cutting tranny lines at all. For $50 it was well worth it!
I will snap some pictures of my gauge panel, and cooler installed in the morning for anyone who wants to see them.
IIRC it was a Auto-Meter accessory......but Summit has it for sure.
