cat question

Does anybody living in Nevada know if removing both cats and replacing with a single hogh flow will be legal on the visual? I purchased an 88 with a 302 a while back and am sure it has the OE exhaust still on it.

What part of Nevada? I am in Southern Nevada and in Clark County they will usually get you for not having both. I have an 88 302 Bronco also. I had my first cat gutted out with 3inch pipe and had the second replaced with a high flow. I pass just fine.

I'm in the same area LV. Did you gut the first yourself or have a shop do it?

I had a shop gut the first and replace the second, run 3 inch with a flowmaster. It ran about $350.
