Rare Truck?
99 F250LD 4x4 with factory air springs w/ compressor. I was told there were only 10k of these trucks made. I have a blown drivers side airbag, and am desperately seeking a replacement set. (if one blew, the mate is sure to follow suit soon?) Is this truck really rare? Is there anywhere to find a replacement airbag (set) other than the Ford Dealer. I'm not slamming dealers, I'm just a cheapskate. The dealer is quoting me $350 for 1 replacement bag, when I can get 2 top of the line aftermarket bags for $220.

answered my own question
I called around to several Ford dealers in the Dallas area, and the replacement air spring ran anywhere from $236-$251 for the dealers that had it in stock. The dealers that didn't stock it, but could have it next day (prepaid) had it for $196.82. Then I got lucky and found it using part number F75Z5A891CA at this website http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...&siteid=214109 for $147.61. Sounds like I've gotten as close to a bargain as I am going to be able to find.
