a tip for automatic linkages
today while pulling an engine/trans in my dads 82 250 i found that i can prevent destroying those little plastic gromments that hold the rods in the shifting levers. you just squirt em with wd-40 then whip out your battery cable puller (the one that slides underneath and you run down the screw). worked great for me!
