I just have a simple question (I hope). The markings or writing has worn off of my hubs so that I don't know whether they are locked or not or if something else inside is screwed up. I drove in front of my wife the other day so that I could see if my axleshafts were turning. I have a 2000 PSD 350 CC SRW.
Are the hubs like the door locks and turn both sides to the back to unlock or are they opposite directions?
If you can turn the axle by hand it is unlocked. Once you determine if it is unlocked then take a small drill bit and make a small drill start in the outer ring of the hub and right next to it on the center part that turns. Then get some white spray paint and a tooth pick. Spray the end of the toothpick and then use it to paint the two drill starts. This way you can see from a distance next time if they are locked or not.
