Name that component

Anybody know what the electrical component is that is located on the block just in front of the engine mounts (towards the radiator)? You have to look up from underneath to see it. It has one wire coming off of it and if you pull the wire off, it is threaded. If need be, I can get a picture of it, but if you look, it should be quite obvious. Could coolant leak around it? I have a leak and can't seem to pinpoint the location. I have ruled out freeze plugs and water pump/gasket. It seems to be coming from that "thing" or somewhere very near it. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks.

if it's on the drivers side behind/below the steering pump and it's bell shaped then it's the oil pressure sending unit.

Thanks for the replies. Guess I'll have to keep looking for the source of the leak.
