ordering a cam
Well , my buddy has dug in to my engine he rebuilt and found the new #4 intake lifter is frozen and will have to be punched out. Most likely the new cam is trashed so I will need to be ordering one. I see on here that the Comp Cam seems to be the popular choice for the 79 year 351/400. If I call Comp to order one, what information do I need to give them about the engine ? Will they ask what my driving needs will be as far as my needing low end power or highway power, etc ? Will they need to know about the machine work done on it or does that matter to them ? thanks
