As I continue rebuiulding my HOlley 4160 carb, I am about to install the new pump nozzle and according to the manual I MUST install the check valve or check needle first, when I took the carb apart there was no check needle, for the type of nozzle my carb has it MUST have a needle according to the manual otherwise fuel could dribble into the carb, could this be why my truck always ran on the rich side? I figured the carb just needed a rebuild, which it did, but could this have been an issue as well?
The carb had a #31 nozzle in it, so I am going to replace it with the same one.
Any idea who sells these check needles?
Also on a side note, who sells, new diaphrams for the vacuum secondaries? MIne holds but leaks slowly.

there are 2 check ***** with the kit, one is way too large to fit, the other may fit I have to double check, but no needle that I can see. I got the Holley Trick kit specifically for my list number so not sure why its not in there, unless I am just missing it.
