starter fiasco
so my starter has been messed up for a while, and I got around to takin it out today hooked some power up to it and wasnt activating fast enough...so I got this starter that is brand new from a buddy, but it had no bendix gear, so I put my old one on there...hooked it up to power worked fine...bolted it back up and still jsut spun and didnt turn them otor over...so could it be the gear?

either way Im pretty pissed, I gotta get it working before grad this weekedn so I can put a permit on it and show up in style haha.
I'll just take the starter outta the bronco sitting at the shop, I know it works.

ok update...got a new bendix on the starter, still is doing the same thing, had a look at the flywheel, the teeth are prettymuch haggard. so we spun it till thre wasa good chunk, filed it up a bit triedthe starter, still didnt work, it half caught once, so yea I think I need to find a new flywheel!
