I have a 93 f-150 and the drivers side rear leaf spring mount (the rear one)
has broke and is about the send the leaf spring through my gas tank. Does anyone have any of these laying around or know where I can find em cheap?
Just finished the same job myself on both sides. I blew the rivets off for the leaf spring shackle with a torch and an air chisel, but it can be done with a die grinder. You can get the spring shackle and adaptor mount at the dealership for about 40 bucks a side. Replace the rivets with grade 8 bolts (7/16 I believe). You may have to replace the bolts that hold the leaf spring to the shackle and the shackle to the mount. Spray them for a few days, and you might get lucky. The job really isn't THAT bad, just take your time, and be patient and all will be well.
