I'm here. I usually read the forum everyday at work while eating my lunch... Haven't said anything for while cause I got nothing intelligent/important to say (yah, I know - it never stopped me before).
Taking a season off (or trying to) from working on the truck to try to work down the debt from working on it while while unemployed. With one large exception - expecting to buy a replacement cab possibly this weekend (cheaper than fixing the current one). Actually the bride is paying for it (sorta) as a wedding aniversary present. (When you're #2, you try harder).
Aside from that, will be doing stuff that costs little or nothing till next year....
So how ya been? What time do Mom and Dad let you stay up to, now that schools almost out for the summer?
Fergie!!! Ol buddy, ol pal. Your wit doth flow like molasses (or mole asses???) and we've sorely missed it. I've been busy every day on Earl. I go out and run a rag over the cracked windshield. Each day it removes several thousandths of an inch of dirt and bird droppings. I'm a makin' progress - you can to if you follow my lead.
Had to go to Calgary two weekends ago for a wedding...
Last weekend I went to Barrie, Ont. for the big semi-annual automotive flea market. (5.5 hr drive each way with the neighbour in his 66 Galaxie 500 convertible). Went looking for a vehicle for the young lad (my younger son - still older than 4spd) and a better cab for Euphemia.
Found several potential vehicles for the young lad. Hoping to close on one perhaps this weekend (damned thing is another 30 minutes further west of Barrie though....
Found a good source for a cab - just 3 hrs from C.P., so that'll be next week end.
Even if I really wanted to, I don't think I have any time for working on the truck.......
I'm getting tired just listening to myself....
The wife is sure enjoying all this alone time though!
Glad to hear your doing well. I figured between women and employment(I could use both, but one would supplement the other) you would have little time for the truck. At least you haven't done anything too radical on your truck like niolon, so if you let it sit for a year nothing will go out of style. -4speed
