Rough Idle
I have a 98' Eddie Bauer and the idle seems to be getting rougher as time passes and it has started to mess with the trani when I pull out can any one help I think it maybe the IAC but I am not sure Could it be the EGR valve

Could be the EGR, but greater probability that it's the IAC. Other possible culprits could be the TPS and the MAF sensor, but still highest probability is the IAC. Some say they've had luck cleaning them with throttle body cleaner, but I never had any lasting results. I've always ended up replacing one if I've had a problem.

Thank you I really dont think that its the maf because there really isn't any hesitation on pull out I thought I was on the right track with the IAC i just needed some other opions thanks alot I will try to clean it and if that works i will just change it
