Just cruising through the forum this AM and saw a couple more references to Model A's etc. Just how many of ''us'' also have a pre-48 of some kind? I was naive enough to think that I was an anomoly but I'm beginning to think that there are many of them in our midst...????
I don't have a Model "A", anymore. I had a 31 truck for awhile(it was mainly an accumulation of parts). But I bet there are alot of us here that have more than just our Fords. I'm an equal opportunity truck(and car) nut. I have a 59 Dodge D100 that my 10 year old has taken a fancy to, I have a 66Chevy C10 that might end up in the hands of my 14 year old, I have a 67 Bug that my wife is pestering me to get back on the road, a 67 Jeep Commando that I'm working a deal on, and then there are the motorcycles, water toys, etc, etc, etc
Had a 36 Chevy 2 Dr coach some time ago, always dreamed of owning a 33-34 Ford 3 window or 2 dr sedan. Otherwise my only current owned classic is Gracie.
I have a 1946 Ford Business Coupe, 302/C4, 9", MII. Also have a 1940 Ford Coupe that I am slowly progressing on. TPI -----, 700R4, 8", MII. Of course. like 'fenders, my 53F100 has become a jackstand warrior while I R&R the 302 one more time. Got a pesky oil leak I can't seem to get rid of.
I'm proud to call myself an Oldsmobile guy! Not the bellybutton 4-4-2 Cutlass crowd. The big '40s thru '60s cruisers are my thing. I have a '60 Olds Super 88 4dr hard top. Black, lowered 4", duals w/flame throwers, wide whites and skirts, original 394 4bbl.
Next for me on my list is a '55 Olds, and my wife wants a '59 Buick ('59 and '60 GMs are our favorites).
Then there's that #2+ condition '63 Impala 2dr htp I sold 12 years ago and still hate myself for.
