1996 F-150 Engine Knocking (ping ?)
My 1996 F-150 V8 has 138,500 miles on it. Recently when I climb a hill and push gas pedal real hard, engine will knock (ping ?) and car will hesitate in acceleration. It only happen when climbing hills. Changing gasoline to super unlead (octane 91) seems to help a little bit. Anyone knows what to look for and how to fix this problem? Thanks!
