Blown door lock fuse

Blown door lock fuse
I have been blowing the fuses for my 04 4x4 Excursion auto door locks. The mechanic stated there was a short in the driver's door, fixed it, replaced the theft unit. Everything worked fine for four days, then the fuse blew again. Any ideas?
