How many horses?
Thanks for the info. I've got a
modified Jeep that I like to tow to
4-wheel drive events on a tandem
axle trailor. I just bought this
truck this week and I wanted to
know what to expect from it as far
as pulling power goes. Thanks.

I sometimes pull a 16-ft car trailer behind my 89, and havent had any trouble. You wanna makesure that your transmission stays cool though, otherwise expect to be brokedown and spend a hunk of change down the road. Make sure you have a Transmission cooler.

How many horses?
My truck does have a tranny cooler. It looks like it's a factory item. The truck is originally from Minnesota but I live in Phoenix, Az so I was thinking of putting a bigger one in just to be on the safe side. Having just bought this truck, I have spent several hours pouring over this site trying to learn more about it. In doing so, I have seen your name all over the place. I recall seeing a post that said somewhere in this site there was a decoder to find out what all of the various ID numbers mean. Do you know where I can find this? Thanks. Scott
