Well I have the flint seats and it finally happened. After swimming yesterday my girlfriedn sat in the passenger seat and wasn't quite dry. Well once the seat dried it stained. From water. I almost made it a year without cleaning them. Now, how do i go about getting this out? What works? Once I get it cleaned i'm gonna drop the cash on some wet okole seat covers i think. Thanks.
There are a bunch of posts, take a quick search.
I have the super light gray cloth, and nothing stains like it. Nothing.
Distilled water leaves a mark. Not kidding. I tried it.
So after trying all the really interesting suggestions, I now clean it with my Hoover home steam cleaner. I have to do the entire seat, as any kind of spot cleaning leaves spots...
So every couple of months I do the entire seat, two passes.
If I ever find a decent seat cover, that isn't scuba gear (way to hot here) and that can deal with my shoulder mount seatbelts, and the darn center seat I'm buying them.
At least, if they are under 400 bucks...

Scott - I recently made a quick run to the convenience store, about a mile away from my house. Put a couple of bags of ice in the front passenger seat, about 3 minutes back to the house. The little bit of water from the ice melting left what looks like Frosty the Snowman melted in my front seat. I can't believe how easily these seats stain.
Like Chris posted, the carpet/upholstry cleaners work well. I use a Bissell upright carpet cleaner that has the upholstry attachment. I use either the Rug Doctor, Bissell or other brand upholstry cleaning solution and the seats come out fine.
I used Castle window cleaner on mine. Blue can...usually sold by recon supply outfits..best window cleaner stuff I've ever used (makes that Stoner stuff look like crap) and cleans everything I've ever used it on. I wetted the entire seat panel where I had a stain and rubbed it with a clean towel....seats are perfect again and the truck smells awesome!
someone left a piece of gum on my back seat. mine is the black/dark flint. i was able to pick most of it off when it was kind of cold. but i haven't done anything else since (except not let anyone ride in the back)
