Nick34 you been moved, I would ask the same question in the forum titled "performance, engines, and troubleshooting" Then scroll down to the section for 221, 260, 289, 302 351w V8's.

well how complete of a 5.8 do you have? the swap is really easy. you just reuse your 302 wiring harness , motor mounts and accesory brackets all fit the 5.8. you will need to correct flexplate for a 5.8/ tranny combo your running. also the upper/lower intake for a 5.8. you will also need to get your Y pipe widend just a little.
This is a great swap/mod you will be real happy. ive had mine like this for 2yrs now and have zero issues. even get better mpg
