lwcassady is correct. There is an irertia switch that is up on the firewall where the passenger's toes would be. It has ~3 wires that go to it. To reset it some have just tapped on it with a screwdriver handle, or remove it an shake it so the little ball falls back in place. Just make sure you hold it upright when you put it back on.
One other thing... if it is FI then air may have gotten into the lines. When that happens to mine (run out of gas) then I have to use 1/2 can of starter spray over about an hour to get it restarted. You can try bleeding the air at the rail.
Some inertia sensors are spring loaded; simply push the red button to reset. No removal might be applicable to you. And correct on the location noted; start near the hump and work your way over to the right and you'll find it.
