throttle cleaning
id like to know how you clean the throttle? i have a f-150 1995 5.0 4x4. how i did it is i just sprayed carburator cleaner in it. do you need to remove the assembly? thanks for any information

I am not sure about cleaning you throttle body with "carburator cleaner" is a good idea. I have read that this solvent is much too strong to use in throttle bodies. It is recommended that you use ONLY products recommended for use on "throttle bodies". Others may disagree, but I am just letting you know what I have read. I suppose that there are sensitive parts (i.e TPS-Throttle Positioning Sensor) that the carburator cleaner may damage.
