This is STRANGE.....

My truck will drip a bit of oil. 2" spot every once in awhile.

It has sat in my driveway from Saturday evening until this morning without moving it or running it once.

Yesterday NO oil spot.

Today there is a 6-7" puddle and it is actually dripping when I went outside.

What is up? How can it start dripping so much without even being run in the last 36 hours????

Are you sure it's engine oil? If it has an automatic tansmission and the convertor drains
down the level in the trans pan raises above the gasket if it is bad or loose it will leak.

Took it next door to Prostreet Auto.
He looked underneath...TRANNY FLUID. Serves me right for moving the truck before looking where it was coming from.

He tightened the back bolts on the pan and said they were pretty loose.

Strange still....Is it normal to have these loosen?
I had the fluid, gasket and the pan wash done over three months ago.

Well, It wasn't the gasket.

It was the o-rings for the tranny connector. Once the fluid settled to the bottom it would fill up to the Harness connector and leak out.

Also one of the Tranny rad hoses cracked and started to leak out by the front bumper.

This truck is driving me crazy. I want a newer one.

is $300/month reasonable for a '95. And it still needs more work.

Well, I preffer do preventive maintenance so my old 1986 doesn't need more than US$ 50 - 70/month

Some people waits untill things get bad then it is expensive. Maybe your truck is requesting lots of pending services... I don't know.

It's a good thing I didn't persue that truck! I was looking at that exact truck on autotrader a few times. I decided to not look at it because it was a 4x4. (I like the stance it has though)

I got the impression that it was a company work truck, was it?
