Torque ft/lbs Specifications

it goes like this for the cylinder head bolts
4.9l (300 cid)
progressively increase in tightness in three steps using this sequence
1rst step tighten all bolts to 67-75 Nm (50-55ft-lb)
2nd step tighten all bolts to 82-88 nm (60-65 ft-lb)
3rd step tighten all bolts to 94-115 nm (70-85 ft-lb)
5.0l (302cid)
tighten in steps
1rst step to 75-88 nm (55-65 ft-lbs)
2nd step to 88-97 nm (65-72 ft-lbs)

Torque ft/lbs Specifications
My book just goes back to 87 which both are fuel injected then, so here goes, 87 to 94 the 300 inline six has 260 @ 2000 rpm's the 302 has 270 @ 2400 rpm's. The 95 300 - 6 has 260 @ 2000, the 302 has 275 @ 3000. Hope this helps!
