I guess only way to get info on it is by calling, tried the search with the part #, oh well thanks for the info on this. This is what I had been searching for forums for also.
Skipperw looks good but I bet you woulda got better performance with a mandrel bent system. When I get mine done I'll post some pics, there is a shop in Bakersfield that does custom mandrel bent systems. they even do 4 and 5" systems for diesels.
Madmedic20, Is that Bob's your talking about with the mandrel bender? I e-mailed them a while back about that graph on power they show and that was for an exhaust system only no Y-pipe mod. If I remember right, they said a y-pipe mod would help more. Post up when and if you get something done or talk to them.
Yep Bobs muffler. I gotta talk my wife into it. I told her I want to get a AeroTurbine muffler and a new Y. SHE laughed me. But Im gonna do it anyways.
Some body please post a side by side of the very well done two to one (even if not mandrel bent) and the Ford so called better idea crap set up so future lurkers can readily see why this is a common sense good thing to do to a 99-04 V10.
Now that is exactly why even with typical tubing bender the adaption of a fairly simple two to one collector is indeed a "better idea"
HELLO Ford engineers! Thanks for finally getting it right in 05/06 but just what the hell were you thinking from 99-04?
Thanks for the photos. Good stuff
Now if someone would just design a 180 degree plumbing system I think we can scavenge the exhaust into an additional 45-65 hp gain with fair torque curve.
