Tree Sap!

I have a 2001 Ford Ranger XLT, I have tree sap on my hood, does any one know a safe way to remove it.

I have used Mother's California Gold Clay Bar System and find it works great at remove tree sap. It can be purchased at most auto parts stores.

Depending on what kind of tree got ya, soap and hot water may be all you need.

Hah! Just did this today. Laquer thinner works pretty good, and no it won't hurt the paint. A lot of auto places use it to remove glue from stickers/decals and stuff. I used it to remove a lot of stuff on my truck, tar, stickers, glue from decals that were on from the factory, 7 seven years ago. No negative effects from it. Just put some on a rag and rub the sap off, rinse off when done.
