Hey Guys I Have A 2005 F 350 That Is Leaning Or Not Level. It About 2 Inches Lower On The Left Side. Is This A Factory Defect Or Is There Something I Should Know..i Have Taken It To An Suspension Shop They Tell Me It Is A Factory Defect Is This True Who Do I Contact.. They Say It Is The Front Coil Seat?
I know with the rangers, there's a similar lean and its due to the fuel tank and battery on the passenger side. I know the fuel tank is on the passenger side on the F series trucks, do you notice the lean with both a full and empty tank, also make sure your looking at your truck on a level surface. Oh, one more thing where your tires are positioned play a huge role in where your truck will lean, make sure your tires are straight while looking at your truck.
one more thought too, check your tire pressure to make sure they're all even.
If everything checks out normal, then take it to a dealer and raise hell.
fuel tank is on the drivers side on a 350 and inside the frame, so near center ... no noticable uneveness on mine
thats exactly where it is on the rangers, and there's a noticeable lean with a full tank... i'd imagine there would be a lean on the Super duties due to the large capasity tank.. then again they have much stiffer springs than a ranger.
anyways, instead of wasting your time at a dealer, just check the obvious thats all im saying. If the obvious checks out okay, then go to a dealer.
