ELectrical Woes
I was out mudding tonight, and i was pulling someone out of the mud. I hooked up to him, and put it in 4 wheel low, got up to about 5-10 MPH when the rope got tight, it was a slight jerk, but nothing like some of my other off road trips, anyway. My whole guage cluster goes dead, except for a flashing ABS light. The guages still work, just not the lighting. The AC lighting is now dead as well. I was driving and someone yelled out his window that my brake lights arent working, and they arent. I got home and started checking things, from what I can tell,
1. Guage backlight/dimmer does not work but guages do.
2. Brake and tail lights do not work, but rear turn signals do.
3. Parking lights (middle between in and out on pull on lights) do not work.
The ABS light is intermitant, it flashes, and I can turn the truck off, and then back on and it goes off, seems to come on when I start moving, or switch from going foward to reverse, but is not cosistant. Is there maybe a wire i shook loose, or a big fuse that feeds all that stuff, Ill be getting a test light tomorow for checking stuff out.
Im sorry if this is been covered, its 2:40 AM here, and I did a search and looked through the first 3 pages of returns with no luck.
